Without a Body – is a live performance work in which the body is partially obscured by a responsive shell that shifts, hums, and transforms through movement. Sound, object, and gesture operate as extensions of the body, displacing it rather than representing it.
Developed as a body-led inquiry, the work examines absence, mediation, and the instability of embodiment. Resisting continuous legibility, mirrored and fragmented forms emerge as the body is repeatedly called in and out of presence.
Originating as a personal exploration of the queer body, Without a Body operates as an ongoing, durational practice, situating presence as provisional and negotiated and holding the body at the threshold of appearance.
